We've been up to something BIG! The Junior League of Bristol helped bring the very first Splash Pad to the Bristol area; officially opening on September 2, 2016. That’s right! A SPLASH PAD in Bristol! This recreation area is filled with interactive water play including sprinklers, ground nozzles, and dumping water buckets and is sure to bring hours of fun to children (and adults!). It is a safe "zero-depth" water play area, which eliminates the need for lifeguards. 

The Splash Pad is located at Steele Creek Park. The park has over 120,000 visitors each year, and with our newest addition we're sure to welcome many more. Bristol, Tennessee Parks and Recreation maintains the Splash Pad.
