Read for the Record

Jumpstart's national campaign, Read for the Record, brings together millions of people each year in classrooms, libraries, community centers, and homes across the United States. This annual campaign was launched over a decade ago to highlight the importance of building early literacy and language skills for EVERY child, so that all children have the opportunity to enter kindergarten prepared to succeed. Members spent time in Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten classrooms throughout the Greater Bristol area sharing our love of literacy.

The Junior League of Bristol has a long history of community projects that support Arts & Music, Health & Education, Recreation, and Beautification.

The Junior League of Bristol members continue to volunteer in many of the communities' agencies and non-profits, as well as supporting the JLB's own signature community projects.
